Ings Farm Before and After School Care Club (SCOOT) is open every morning from 7:30am – 8:30am and also on an evening from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. During the children’s time at SCOOT, they are encouraged to experience a wide range of activities which are age appropriate, stimulating and enjoyable.
The aims of the club are:
- To provide a quality after school and holiday care service for children and parents within a safe, secure, happy environment with emphasis on fun, enjoyment and friendship. To provide quality activities which entertain and stimulate.
- To promote good behaviour by encouraging children to share and respect each other and their surroundings.
- To ensure the scheme reflects and meets the needs of the local community and incorporates equal opportunities into all areas of our work.
- SCOOT is committed to ensuring the Health and Safety and Welfare of its employees and users of the facility, so far as is reasonably practicable.
Breakfast Club
As a result of a parent’s survey, we started our Breakfast Club in September 2014. We operate in the main school hall from 7:15am until 8:40am (when school commences). The children sit together to eat and have a variety of cereals to choose from, as well as breakfast biscuits and toast. Milk and fruit juice is available to drink.
When the children have finished eating they can spend their time playing games, table tennis, computer games, drawing and colouring etc. until all the equipment has been tidied away. Then they often play a high energy game such as ‘dodgeball’, ‘stuck-in-the-mud’ or ‘piggy-in-the-middle’ to ready themselves for their school day.
The daily cost is £5 per child and only £2.50 for siblings. Please call in to obtain a Breakfast Club registration form.
